An Integrative Simulation for Mixing Different Polycarbonate Grades with the Same Color: Experimental Analysis and Evaluations

چکیده

The processing parameters’ impact such as temperature (Temp.), feed rate (F.R.), and speed (S.) at three distinct grades of the same color was explored in this study. To investigate effect characteristics on formulations, they were each adjusted to five different levels. For these grades, which all associated with color, an intermeshing twin-screw extruder (TSE) used. compounded materials molded into flat coupons then evaluated a spectrophotometer for their CIE (L*, a*, b*, dE*) values. A used determine plastic batch, measured numbers indicating tristimulus values (CIE L*a*b*). lightness axis, ranged from 0 (black) 100 (white), is known L*-axis (white). Redness-greenness yellowness-blueness represented by other two coordinates, a* respectively. difference deviation (Delta E*) target dimensionless, when dE* approached zero. However, most excellent favorable value occurred factors polycarbonate grade investigated. Using response service design (RSD) software Stat-Ease Design-Expert® (Minneapolis, MN, USA), historical data gathered evaluated. reduce dE*, impacts investigated parameters. whole could be simulated. Parameters 45 treatments, using five-level controlled method detect non-optimal responses. ANOVA build predicted regression models. significant parameters subjected experimental running simulate models achieve best reducing waste.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

An experimental method for the assessment of color simulation tools.

The Simulcheck method for evaluating the accuracy of color simulation tools in relation to dichromats is described and used to test three color simulation tools: Variantor, Coblis, and Vischeck. A total of 10 dichromats (five protanopes, five deuteranopes) and 10 normal trichromats participated in the current study. Simulcheck includes two psychophysical tasks: the Pseudoachromatic Stimuli Iden...

Grades, Course Evaluations, and Academic Incentives

We develop a model that identifies a range of new and somewhat counterintuitive results about how the incentives created by academic institutions affect student and faculty behavior. The model provides a theoretical basis for grade inflation and the behavioral response of students. Comparative statics are used to analyze the effects of institutional expectations placed on faculty. The results s...

the search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

Grades and student evaluations of teachers

Understanding the relationship between grading practices and student evaluations is especially important in higher education because of the increasing importance of this instrument in the promotion process. If evaluations can be increased by giving higher grades, then they are a flawed instrument for the evaluation of teaching. Further, this process may be contributing to the inflation of grade...
